  1. I think that living abroad is great; the biggest hurdle to get over is the language barrier and the loneliness if you move somewhere and don’t know anyone. Usually these two go hand in hand as your language skills improve as you get to know people in the new city and get to practice, and as you gain confidence in your ability to speak the local language, you can meet more people. I was in Paris, and I found a website http://www.singleinparis.com that helped me to meet people in Paris, France. After meeting a few people my French improved rapidly, and I had a great couple of years.
